Program for Hydro-Meteorological Risk Mitigation in Secondary Cities in Asia
The aim of the PROMESE project is to reduce vulnerability of urban communities through enhanced preparedness and mitigation of hydro-meteorological disasters in South and South East Asia. The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) had picked up five cities one each from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Philippines to pilot urban disaster risk reduction with the aim to promote hydro-meteorological disaster preparedness and mitigation activities in the selected cities.
